Join Massasoit Community College/Unity Center: Brockton, MA  12:00-1:00pm - For author & advocate, and FCR friend, Lovern Gordon who wrote: The Legacy He Left Me- an in-depth and personal understanding of her life as  a survivor.  Rising from the ashes of 2 severe Domestic Violence situations, Lovern went on to establish her own awareness foundation (Love Life Now Fdn) and educates others to become part of the solution and provides resources to victims & survivors.  The Healthy Relationship Program is a year-long program for teens currently in high school that educates members on unhealthy dating practices, the causes and consequences of dating abuse, and the skills and resources needed to develop safe, healthy relationships.

Thanksgiving Basket Drive Launch!  Each year we create 25 – 30 Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets for families in need who come to FCR for services.  Click here for our wish list of items!

The BRA will be having a Resource and Hispanic Heritage Celebration event. As many of you know, Hispanics make up 11%                              of Brockton’s population and make up a good amount of the people we serve. The BRA will be doing a Farmer’s Market Takeover. On this day, we will be sharing information about our available resources in both English and Spanish. FCR will be there from 10am to 2pm!

Healthy Relationships Program & the Women in The NAACP Brockton Area branch will be holding a training/outreach event/seminar for youth in the community.  Click here to learn more!

National Purple Thursday! – Wear purple to raise awareness for DV!  Take a selfie and share it on #PURPLETHURSDAY! Tag @fcr_inc on instagram!

Brockton’s City Hall will be lit up in purple to commemorate DV Awareness month.

We will be celebrating the brave survivors who come to FCR with gifts of  “A handbag full of love” – Thanks to the generosity of Alicia Wells & The Restoration Community Church who put together some amazing self-care bags for survivors!

Health Imperatives Purple Purse Awards – members from FCR will be on hand to for this inspiring community event.

Halloween Treat Bags for the child survivors who come to FCR!  FCR staff has put together some sweet treats!
