Juneteenth Staff Day

To celebrate Juneteenth this year, FCR hosted a Staff Day to celebrate freedom! Juneteenth is a holiday to commemorate the end of slavery in the United States after the Civil War. President Biden recognized Juneteenth as a federal holiday in 2021, following nationwide protests and police killings of Black Americans in 2020. To celebrate Juneteenth, staff members brought food from their culture for the Potluck. We also had some crafts like painting, bracelet making and games like Jenga and corn hole!
